9th Dec 2020

With Christmas just around the corner, most ovens are about to get a serious workout! Cleaning your oven after making a roast, or your stovetop after making marmalade or gravy can be a daunting task, but by following a few simple cleaning hacks, you will have a sparkling clean oven, using innovative, eco-friendly products, in a fraction of the time that traditional products take.

Preparation

Before you begin, make sure you have these oven cleaning essentials:

  • Scrub Daddy
  • A bowl of clean, cold water
  • A bowl of clean, warm water
  • The Pink Stuff miracle cleaning paste
  • A sponge
  • Optional: microfibre cloth

Cleaning your stovetop

Start by removing any loose dirt of food that might be on your stovetop

Soak your Sponge Daddy in warm water (makes the sponge hard), and start cleaning the stovetop on one side

As your sponge becomes dirty, rinse it under cold water until clean, and then put the sponge back in the warm clean water to make it hard again

Repeat steps b and c until you have removed all of the foodstuff and marks off your stovetop

Rinse the Scrub Daddy clean and dip it in cold water (makes the sponge soft)

Wipe down any remaining residue with the soft Scrub Daddy

Cleaning your oven

Using a clean sponge, gently and generously apply The Pink Stuff to your oven door, bottom and walls

Dip the Scrub Daddy into clean cold water (makes the sponge soft) and wipe off The Pink Stuff

As the Scrub Daddy gets dirty, rinse it off in clean water

Repeat steps b and c until your oven is sparkling clean

For stubborn areas, leave The Pink Stuff on the oven for one to two minutes before wiping

Optional: wipe over the glass with a microfibre cloth

Cleaning oven racks

Using a clean sponge, gently apply The Pink Stuff to your oven racks

Rinse your racks under a tap in the sink until all of The Pink Stuff is removed

If necessary, repeat steps 1 and 2.
