Celebrating Innovation: Welcome to the 2023 Cleanie Awards

Another year, and another opportunity to revel in our annual Cleanie Awards. With so many new products being launched over the last year and a slew of new nominees, it's set to be another exciting award season as the nominees launch their campaigns to win you over. Here’s what you need to know about the categories and nominees.

The Categories & Nominees

Best Cleaning Spray

Everyone has their favourite cleaning spray, but will yours stand up to scrutiny when compared to the rest? This year, all the heavy hitters are nominated. Scrub Daddy Magic Multi-Surface Cleaner, Astonish Specialist Extra Strength Anti-Bacterial Surface Cleaner and Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray fell short last year when The Pink Stuff The Miracle Multi-Purpose Cleaner took the win. This year, they get another opportunity to take home the crown, but Fabulosa's Unicorn Dust replaces last year's nominee Electrify.

Best Cleaning Sponge, Cloth or Pad

Whether you prefer the Scrub Mommy or the Scrub Daddy Original, the Minky M Cloth Anti-Bacterial Kitchen Cleaning Pad, the Minky M Cloth Glass & Window or the Damp Duster by Scrub Daddy, show your favour by voting for your favourite cleaning sponge, cloth or pad! The Scrub Mommy came out on top last year, but can she make it back-to-back wins?

Best Stain Remover

Whatever stain you're tackling, you probably have a go-to product that never lets you down. Last year, the Pink Stuff Cleaning Paste snatched victory, but this year you can choose from Astonish Specialist Carpet & Upholstery (Lotus Flower), Eraser Daddy 10x by Scrub Daddy, The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Laundry Oxi Stain Remover Spray, as well as the Miracle Paste.

Best Smelling Cleaner

It should come as no surprise that a Fabulosa victory swept to victory in this category in last year's Cleanie Awards, and with two nominees this year, it will be hard to beat. Will Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray – Unicorn Dust ride to victory again? Or, will Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray – Electrify rain on its parade? Scrub Daddy Magic Multi-Surface Cleaner and The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Multi-Purpose Cleaner are also among the nominees for this category.

Best New Product

The Dish Daddy won this category last year, and this year, there are some serious contenders vying for your favour. You can vote for Vamoosh Washing Machine Cleaner, Vamoosh Pet Hair Dissolver, The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Wash-Up Spray, The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Foaming Toilet Cleaner or BBQ Daddy by Scrub Daddy.
