2022 Cleanie Awards: And the winners are ...
November is the traditional start of the entertainment industry's award season, and we'll be honest – that felt like the perfect time to announce our Cleanie Award Winners.
We asked you to choose your favourite cleaning products for 2022 and the results are in.
Best Cleaning Spray
It was a competitive category, with the biggest hitters in the business battling it out for supremacy. And the nominees were:
- The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Multi-Purpose Cleaner
- Scrub Daddy Magic Multi-Surface Cleaner
- Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray (Electrify)
- Astonish Specialist Extra Strength Antibacterial Surface Cleanser
Four mighty competitors, but only one can win and the heaviest hitter of 2022 is the Pink Stuff's Miracle Multi-Purpose Cleaner!
Best Cleaning Sponge
Everyone has their own preference when it comes to sponges, but in the battle for the best cleaning sponge, four would compete, and only one would come out victorious. You voted between:
- Scrub Daddy Original
- Scrub Mommy
- Minky M Cloth Glass & Window
- Minky M Cloth Anti-Bacterial Kitchen Cleaning Pad
Scrub Mommy came out on top as your favourite cleaning sponge.
Best Stain Remover
If you want the best stain remover, there was a clear winner in the category. The nominees in this category were:
- Eraser Daddy 10x
- Astonish Specialist Carpet & Upholstery Lotus Flower
- The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste
- The Pink Stuff Miracle Laundry Oxi Stain Remover Spray
And the winner is? The Pink Stuff – The Miracle Cleaning Paste. We guess it is a miracle. Or, maybe it's just science.
Best Smelling Cleaner
There's nothing quite like opening a new cleaning product only to find out it smells incredible. But with so many stellar smells, we asked you to make the truly difficult decision on which one smells best. The choices in this category were:
- The Pink Stuff Miracle Multi-Purpose Cleaner
- Scrub Daddy Magic Multi-Surface Cleaner
- Fabulosa Washing Up Liquid - Rainbow Drops
- Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray - Unicorn Dust
It was a stiff competition, with two smellalicious Fabulosa products in the mix. However, only one could win, and as much as you love the Rainbow Drops Washing Up Liquid, it was the other Fabulosa product that reigned supreme.
Your winner is Fabulosa Multi-Purpose Anti-Bac Spray Unicorn Dust. It's fresh, it's clean, and the smell lingers for days.
Best New Product
In the toughest category yet, you had to choose between all the new products that launched in 2022. Scrub Daddy released two new products – Power Paste and Dish Daddy. Astonish released a Specialist Daily Shower Shine (Ocean Mist), Minky delivered a new bathroom cloth, and the Pink Stuff gifted the world with Miracle Window Cleaner with Rose Vinegar. But which product was the best new product?
